it may be, but when Fiskars is floating around $20, and probably cuts better, the spydie hasent gotten far.
Price doesn't seem to slow some people down much when it comes to knives! If people will drop $300 and change on a pocket knife, why should a $50 folding saw slow them down?![]()
Seriously, it would be nice to see some good reviews on folding saws. I have a Gerber Sport Saw-- the sliding style with heavy Fiskar's details to it. It's light and sharp and I have it for survival backup, not everyday use. I lean more to my SAK Trekker and the little saw it has for hikes. It's just so easy to drop it in my pocket and go.
IMHO, all these saws are throw-aways when dull and that may influence what people are willing to pay too.
It looks like a good tool, and going on Spryderco's reputation, I would expect it to work well. Your question makes sense.
