i have difficulty in deciding which one to choose

which one would u guys choose?

and why?

any benefits in use or something?

I've got both, I prefer the Meadowlark to the Flight if in SS flavor; the Meadowlark has jimping on the spine cusp, the Flight doesn't; Flight has more blade, usable edge though, weighs 1.5 oz more than the Meadowlark.
Would recommend the G-10 Flight over the SS one however, and same goes for the Meadowlark ;)

+1 on avoiging the stainless handle Flight. The edges of my handle were uncomfortably sharp. I also felt that the weight of the metal handle threw off the balance of the knife. I don't have a G10 flight, but I am certain it would be better in these regards.

I have the Meadowlark in G10 and I love it. It's a great knife. That said, I don't think that you can go wrong with either one. The great thing is that they are both so inexpensive that you can get both!

i'm probably gonna take a meadowlark, the edge reminds me somewhaty of an old fashioned razor :D

but they only got SS in stock so i'm gonna take that anyway

Hi Nephildevil,

The byrd brand is in early develoment. We expect good things to come.

The stainless versions are usually first;

Many line the toughness of an "all stainless" model.
Making a stainless version is the best way to test a maker. Quality issues always show up.

The Meadowlark and flight also come in a G-10 version, which are quite nice. I've been carrying a G-10 "Lark" recently.

The price is an advantage, but the quality is surpising.

Byrd are good knives- I just don't care much for thumb holes. Too slow on the opening.
That said, I have a Meadowlark Black Stainless that I've beaten quite a lot. Should have gotten g10 though, for less weight.

I wrote an arcticle about the G10 Meadowlark. It's a cheap, little EDC knife, very well worthy piece for the price!

If you can't afford a Delica 4, it's a good choice.

The Flight also a good one, but less "sheeple-friendly", kinda "Police-type", slightly larger knife. :)

Your choice - I recommend both. (Or take a look at the Spyder Tenacious. ;))
