Hey guys, I have a Spyderco Centofante III #103. Well, since I never use it, I wanna do a little giveaway. I also want to thank those who helped me when my knives were confiscated.

Don't mean to spoil it for a potential winner, but I think you should keep your knife. I believe a simple thank you is sufficient. Just my opinion. :)

Just keep it or do a "pick a number between 1-1,000,000,000" gig

These nomination gift thingys generally suck.....
 
If you want to show your appreciation to the member that helped you the most then in my opinion you should pick that person yourself. You don't need us to make that determination for you. If you want to say thank you to BladeForums as a whole for the help you received, then just choose a number between 1 and whatever and give the knife to the person that guesses closest to that number.

The above is just my opinion and of course you can do whatever you want with the knife; it is yours after all.
 
How about this, only those who posted in your linked topics are allowed to compete in a 'guess the number' contest. That way it doesn't become a popularity contest and still lets you keep it exclusive to those you feel helped you most at the time.
 
Let me rethink again. Thanks guys. Trying to find a way to show my appreciation for you guys. Hell, I'd send a buncha thank you cards to everyone in those threads if I had some addresses
 
Well, it's going to sound kind of funny coming from a mere registered user, but maybe the best thing you could do is buy yourself a Gold membership to help support the forum. That would help all of us.
