How tight do yaall torque your T6 screws for spyderco clips? Seems every time I tightne them I twist the hell out of the splines on my craftsman T6 driver :thumbdn:
I had the same problem, it was the tool in my case.
Go to home depot and get the Husky 8-In-1 Precision Screwdriver
Its only $6, save the package and you can exchange when you wear them out.
They are stronger then craftsman. Torx® sizes: T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, T9, T10, T15

I use that same one as well. Had to get it because of the smaller bits. Haven't had any problems with it, although it would have been nice if the top was more secure, and all of the bits could be stored inside of it. As it is, if you were to put it in a pocket it's possible the top would come off and all the bits would be knocking about in your pocket.
I'm not sure I'd worry about the tightness that much. "Tight enough" is a hard thing to describe. I'd say if your knuckles are white you're doing it wrong.
Does Spyderco or anybody else for that matter recommend using Loctite?
You must have picked up a bad one, the top on my two are very secure.
I agree on the storage, four slots inside would be nice.
I have popped several screws that were loctited using this set.
I have yet to have an issue where the screws needed loctite.
