I sent my mostly-new Yojimbo in to Spyderco warranty and repair service right after Christmas -- around 12/27.
She had a TON of problems:
1- Lock was engaging almost touching the opposite scale and was extremely tight. (Nice for security, not so nice that you need to really crank on it to disengage.)
2- Pivot screw came from the factory so soft and semi-stripped so it was impossible to tighten it down
3- Rear clip hole threads was stripped
4- Heavy binding in the action around 135 degrees -- blade would actually rub against the liner (!) and was very rough.
She came back today, all fixed up.
The lock is engaging near the front and is a touch sticky. The rear clip hole looks fine and is catching the screw. The crappy pivot screw has been replaced with the "new" style screw (as seen on the Manix). The action is still binding up a bit, but much better.
Thanks, Spyderco.
