Spydie Delica vs. Benchmade Mini Griptilian (or other knife under $75)?

Hi guys I'm looking to get my first real EDC knife, I usually carry some crappy knife I bought in a gift store on vacation. I'm looking to spend under $75 or right around there. I want a blade under 3" or very close to that, since Michigan laws prevent carrying a knife over 3 inches. I was originally looking at the Delica 4 FFG, but I really wanted a knife made in the USA. So I found the Benchmade mini griptilian. What do you guys think I should get? I really like the spyder hole opener on the spydercos aswell as the full flat gring, but I like the fact that the Benchmade is made in the us. Do you know if the Benchmade has "Made in the US" on the blade (like the spyderco has "seki-city japan")? Are there any other spydercos in my price range that are made in the US? Is there any other knives I should consider?

Thanks

If you gotta stay under $75 go with the Spyderco (I would just get the tenacious for $30) if you want something that will hold its value get a Doug Ritter

The mini grip is a really great knife and yes it does say USA on the blade under the benchmade butterfly logo. Also kershaw has a lot of really great knives in your price range and specifications. Here's some good ones that I really like:
Skyline
Leek
Blur (3.3 inches)
Zing

Just for your interest, there are Benchmade (mini)grips with the same opening mechanism as Spyderco knives. It does have a sheepsfoot blade though. The productnumber is 555HG, amongst others.
I don't have a grip or minigrip, but I do own two FFG delica's and I like them. They wouldn't dissapoint you.

I'd go with the benchmade. I like the axis lock. I'd recommend also checking out the translucent blue manix 2. It would be about 80 and also has an interesting lock.

they both seem like good options. My personal choice for an under 3 inch blade would be the cold steel mini ak47. Its built like a tank and I have never had a tri ad lock fail on me. they're not made in the US but I have never had an issue with any of my cold steels

P.S. The ak also has a thumb plate so it can be waved off your pocket :)
