I just read that Spyderco and Kershaw are working on a collaboration knife that if true sounds very sweet. Check out the latest cutlery news at knifecenter.com
s30v and g10 and maybe an assisted opener? If it is an assisted opener then I would like to congratulate Spyderco for teaming up with Kershaw to do an AO knife. The assisted Kershaws I have used are awesome and there speedsafe combined with spyderco design sounds very cool.

Anyone got any more info or educated speculation?
 
can you give me the link that has this info on it..i am not able to find it on their site..that would be bad to the bone..it would be nice to have spyderco design and material w.kershaw opening..cooooool..i would buy a few of those..

Spyderco and Kershaw are working on a collaborative effort with a knife tentatively called the "Pilot" and designed by Ken Onion. It will feature an S30V recurved blade and G10 handle with silver G10 inlay-More soon!"

sounds neat. i like that Spyderco is going thru the proper channels to use Ken's AO feature. Sal & Co. are always out to do the right thing, and that's awesome!

My dealer just told me about this "collab" knife this week. Apparently the proto may be displayed at the SHOT show ... pics ??? Anybody ?? :cool:

I will be in line for this one. The "AO" Onion Kershaws are a pleasure to own and use.

This pic was posted on the other Spyderco forum. I believe it is not an assisted opener. I really like the looks of the knife. Does anyone know any specs? Blade length, etc.?
