Have been loving this Techno, but decided to put a Wicked edge on it. Really like how this CTS-XHP takes an edge.:)

Nice and clean edge you got there! Been thinking of upgrding my sharpening system to a Wicked Edge as well...

I like that shine. I take it she cuts pretty well, too?

Its cuts very well.Did this one at 20 degrees per side.Cant say enough good things about the Wicked Edge system. If anyone is on the fence about getting one,get it you won't be dissappointed.

How do you like the steel on the Techno overall? Better retention than D2? How would you rate it? I heard it gets scalpel sharp and stays.

She came out fantastic! How did you orient the blade in the clamp and to what degree did you set yours at? You got a nice, even edge angle right up to the tip. Good job.

I just received a new Yojimbo 2 from Howe's. This knife ROCKS BTW, one of the best $105 values I have ever purchased. I decided to do a WE on her last night myself. Here she is:

I really like the steel it got some very good use today cutting cardboard and some wood, and is still razor sharp.Reeek the Yo looks great,i did the techno in the top hole,A.5 mark and 20 degrees per side.I just put some painters tape on the blade and the clamps held it perfectly even with the flat grind.

Did you tilt the tip up a little or keep the long edge level?
