I have a friend who makes swords. In the process of learning folders, I get to be a lab-rat.

making a 4" cricket, modified millie-type handle, staying with linerlock. Just basically doubling the stats.

what do you think of this?
*vg-10 steel
*coccabola(sp?) wood scales
*thin liners for strength(both sides)
*Plain edge tip to last(or first) 1/2" or so. Almost 80/20...
*Leftie Linerlock as I can't get any factory lefties in the upper models.

will post pics as he gets parts done, I'm gone from June29-Aug17, and he plans to have one done for me then. I'm tweaking the liner-lock before I go... hopefully...

P.S. I know they make the Civvie, but this is going to have a strong tip on it, for utility.

It sounds like an intersting project. VG-10 might be difficult for a US cusom maker to acquire. We'll wait to see what comes out.

It's nice to see youn posting on threads like this. Is this a possible idea for production?

I'll ask if he can make one for you guys, after I see what mine ends up like.
