SpydieHorns

I have to admit I don't own nearly enough Spyderco knives, I only have four.
Two of them were designed by Jess Horn, and they're both kind of special.
The top one is the C27 with jigged bone scales, and as nicely made as just about any custom folder I've seen.
The bottom is an AG Russell exclusive with white micarta scales and a flat grind blade.

I thought you might like to see them?

I just picked up a white micarta baby Jess Horn at the Roanoke Gun & Knife show this morning -- a serial numbered one at that. Ken Warner, editor of Knives '81 - 2000, and the man behind Knifeware.com, was selling off the last of his Spydies.

Nice little knife. Excellent fit and finish.

The Horn designs are real sleepers-
Phil- I know where you got the 1st Horn! Makes it even nicer!
Dvirsky- Enjoy Roanoke- I used to live right down 220 from there. Also- you're just a short day trip from the Jones Bros. in Danville.

Met one of the Jones brothers at the show (forgot to ask which one

but I think it must have been Barry, since he knew who I was from BladeForums). Also had a chance to admire their work.

My wifey-poo owns a zytel jess horn. We have looked at the micarta ones, but she wont give up the one she has. Not at all heavy, easy for her to carry, and wicked sharp blade. I like 'em
