Does anyone else feel as if Spyderco knives are addicting, like once you have one, you want many more

i can say that about every quality knife there is out there:)
but i guess you have a point

I have had a number of Benchmades and Almars and never really got too excited about them - great knives, but I did not go crazy and try and buy every model out there. I got a CF Caly 3 about 5 years ago and have been trying to get off the Spyderco train ever since, with absolutely no luck.

That's a understatement got a Centofante this summer bought a Para 2 a couple of weeks ago and there's a Military on the way. When's it gonna end!???!

I don't think they're addicting.... I don't have a problem. In the last 2 months I've purchased a Sage 1, Gayle Bradley, Endura 4, Delica 4, Tenacious, oh yea, and the Manix 2 lightweight. Almost forgot the Para2 that I'll be getting tomorrow. I've got things under control.

They are addicting. Lots of variety in the lineup, great blade steels, ergonomic and innovative designs, not to mention great interaction with the collectors and users - there are plenty of reasons to enjoy Spyderco!

I love Spyderco due to their almost endless amounts of collaborations, with different knife makers/designers as well as their willingness to keep up with market trends and the "latest and greatest" as far as blade steel goes. I suppose those are the reasons I've acquired so many.

Sooo I had a whole bunch at one time.
Decided not to specifically collect just Spyderco anymore and got rid of them all but one.
I'm back to having six in a matter of no time lol. And there's a few more I want.
This is after refining my likes down to a few things.

So yes... Spyderbite is indeed an illness. The cute little Spyder bit me, injected venom into my vains, and now I'm a Spyderaholic.

I have many more spydies than any other knife, so your theory certainly holds in my case.

I know!! I know there is a para military 2 under the tree that I am super excited about. But what am I thinking about? I usually end up with a little Christmas money and I am all set to order a Titanium Military. Never satisfied. I am hoping once I get the military, it will calm down. Yeah right

My theory is that they put some sort of addicting pheromone in their steel... Which would explain why I find pretty much all Spydercos to be extremely sexy.

Addicted? What? No! If I was addicted I'd spend all my free time on Spyderco forums on the inter...wait...uh oh....:D

I got my first Spyderco (Native FRN) in 2011 and now.... (I was already into flashlights)

Can't say much about Spyderco other than my first knife (police) when i started way back 20 some years ago to the latest aquisition (southard) 3 days ago! Still remains to be a majority in my collection....now that says a lot!

I'm scared.....
I just bought my second because I heard so much about them, and my used Tenacious is built excellently.

Oh god.

What have I done!!??

:D
