1. The SpydeRench. I've worn out so many Leatherman's it's not even funny.

2. The SpydeCard. A very high cool factor.

3. An "R". Again it's just too cool.

4. ?. I can't make up my mind on what next, probably a stainless Native.

Agreed that the Spyderench looks to be more usefull than a Leatherman but I was wondering how did you wear the Leatherman out. I have never owned them but I have sharpened them for people and they appear to be robust.

beam,

The first to go are the cutters. If you cut a stainless steel cotter pin, or any hardened wire it will ruin them. The next to go are the teeth of the pliers, the steel is so soft they will wear out. If you pry with the pliers tip they have a disconcerting habbit of breaking off. The philips screw driver wears out in no time.
the flat tip screw driver blade will twist. the heat treat on the blades seems a little too soft. Having said that, they are among the best of the multi-tools, but spend the extra $$$ and get one of the locking tool varities.

I can't wait to get a hold of one of the spyderenches. If thier quality is as good as the rest of the spyderco line, it should be a great tool.
