SR1 LionSteel & Montejano

This project is done in collaboration with Master Antonio Montejano.
Together we decided to do a limited series of 10 pieces of the model SR-1. It is etched on the blade on the body in Titanium.
The Titanium body and all its components are completely polished, Antonio afterwards proceed with the engraving.
In the titanium handle there are gold inlays.
That picture is the number one in the series.

Interesting style, using the chi-rho for the initial letters of Christi as XPISTI.

That looks great! I remember seeing of these 10 from someones personal collection in the photo gallery here. I thought that it was a factory SR-1 that someone removed the milling, polished and engraved. Good to know!

We are collecting reservations. They will be ready in March.
The one in the pics is the n° 01

I did a little searching because I could have swore that I've seen this knife before. It appears that this the thread that I was thinking about HERE. It looks like the SR-1 in the link was originally a standard SR-1 that was heavily modified right? Either way both Montejano's original custom work and your limited edition piece are beautiful pieces of art.

Looks great and the carving job is second to none but can you share with us why you choose this concept for the engraving design? Thanks.

That is Gorgeous.. A tribute to the Templar Knights, very cool!!
what is the reservation procedure?
Can you PM me the particulars including cost $US

Mamma mia che bellezza, Gianni. Questo coltello e' un'opera d'arte! Mo' provo a vendere mia moglie alla tratta delle bianche e poi me ne compro uno, ok? Ehehe

Just saying how beautiful this thing is, forgive the Italian as I don't have many opportunities to use my native tongue around here. This is a one off post, I will exclusively use English from now on.

She is still in very good conditions! Make me an offer! Ahahaahhaha

Jokes apart, this knife is the most beautiful piece of knife-related art I have ever seen.

Veramente bello! Immagino che tutta la serie sia stata venduta? Ci saranno altre iniziative simili?
Grazie, Erminio

Really nice - guess they're all gone? Any plans for something like this in the future? Thanks, Erminio.
