I'm interested in purchasing this knife and lack intel. Can you BFers give some feedback? Specifically, I'm curious bout handle traction and an action using teflon washers.

Since LionSteel has a manufacturer forum here, I moved your thread there. We should get a better response.

I have the SR2A that also uses the teflon washers. Action is fine.
Not as smooth as my Spyderco PM2 or Southard but smooth enough to open very easy and fast with your thumb.
Can't somment ot the feel of the titanium handles obviously :)
My only complaint is the thumbstuds have sharp edges on the that make my thumb sore when playing with it too much ;)

Like knoefz I wouldn't worry about the teflon washers. My sr2a started slow but smooth but after a few month of carry and regular lubrication it is like lightning.

Thanks knoefz and matt009, I appreciate hearing from y'all.

Just received my SR1-V and it is a smooth opener with excellent traction, good jimping, and just locks into your hand. After daily carrying a Sebenza, Umnumzaan, or XM18, this will be in my pocket for a while.

Yes the handle is very slippery and a bit too square on the SR-1, they fixed that on the Sr-2, rounder edges
I think i will get some bronze washers to replace the flimsy teflon with... i could barely get them back into the knife
Unfortunately my SR-1 has a somewhat crooked blade, like the TS-1 i had to return because of lock play, the lock on the SR-1 is just fine despite not going over farther than 50% without the blade
