SR-101 = Swamp Rat 101 ? kinda like Freshman class?

Just wondering where the name came from. Since Jerry was an adjunct professor I couldn't but help make the connection to University naming conventions.
 
Scrapyard used to use SR-77 so I doubt it.

SRKW exist about 4 years longer.
It's possible that one of the Swamp models that didn't make production was done in SR-77 before Scrap Yard has been started.

I'm just saying that the "SR" in SR-101/77 probably does not refer to Swamp Rat.
 
Sorry for the thread jack, I got my rodent 9 today. I wouldn't call it dull, but it isn't as sharp as I would like it. I have no experience with SR-101. How does it handle lets say an angle of 25 degrees per side? Would it still be a tough chopper or will it chip? My carbon V trail master seems to handle that angle pretty well.
