SR-2 Centering and Pivot Screws

I've been trying to adjust my SR-2 for a good combination of blade centering and pivot tightness, and I've run into a snag. The pivot screw on the non-lock side turns freely, but the lock side pivot screw seems like it wasn't meant to be turned. I applied a lot of force with both the included tool and a torx bit, and all I accomplished is introducing a little play in the entire pivot assembly, meaning that I can turn it less than 10 degrees before hitting a dead stop, but it turns the other side along with it. I'm guessing that's a bad thing.

So is that screw just not meant to be adjusted? Or is something jammed, overtightened, or cross threaded? This is my first Lionsteel knife and I absolutely love it, but I'd love it more if I could have it tuned to my specs.

The pivot screw in the side of the RotoBlock do not turn. You cau use only the front one.

Please write to service@lionsteel.it we will send you a new one screw.

Ah good to know, grazie Gianni. I don't think I need a new screw though, everything seems to work fine and I don't think I actually damaged anything. I just wish I could center it better without tightening the pivot too much. I'm actually wondering if it's off center because of the pressure from the lock bar because it's very strong, though I don't think I should try to bend the lock bar out. I realize there is very little adjustment possible on this kind of construction, so if this is just the way this particular one came out then that's fine. Unless there's some trick I haven't thought of yet?

You may want to give it a few weeks and see if the lockbar pressure doesn't subside with the normal opening and closing. All of my Lionsteels have become smoother and easier to disengage with time and use.

Yup definitely going to carry it more to see if it just needs a little more breaking in. Do you think lock bar pressure can affect the centering, or is the point too close to the pivot to really make any difference? I've wondered this about frame and liner locks for a while now.
