So I really like the Scrapyard knives, and I know that they are made with SR-77 steel, which is commonly used in jackhammer bits, but what do you people think about their knives?

I know Noss4 did the test on the scrapper 6, and the overall rating was that is was tough, but it did not overall "cut" well, this is why I am asking. What do you really think of the dumpster mutt?

To be honest, I've had a couple, but never used one....if you want better feedback, try posting in the swamp rat or busse forum.

With all of the wind in SC over the weekend we had a lot of fallen limbs. One Oak limb, about 6" diameter and 20' long fell where my neighbors park. Luckily they were gone for the weekend. I rode past it and as soon as I parked I grabbed my Dogfather from beside my seat and took to chopping the limb up. Good, hard dead Oak, a challenge for any knife but the SR-77 Dogfather had it in 4' pieces in a couple minutes. Yes it still shaved, I HAD to check!

I own 4 Scrapyard knives and love them...can be razor sharp hold and edge and cut,chop,slice...I love 'em,tough as hell no BS knife....
