SR Custom Shop Offerings

Greetings;

Question regarding the SR Custom Shop. I realize that you can access this site - (temp. closed for re-building!) - and order custom features for your new Swamp Rat. I have also seen - in my newbe's searching of the massive number of Busse & kin's offerings - that there are knive's marked "Swamp Rat Custom Shop" on the blade.

I am curious if these are limited production items - or are they fairly "standard/custom" blades that can be ordered generally any time from the SR Custom shop? Or perhaps both!? I am particulary interested in the G10 Orange/Black handles - and I see many variations of the pumpkin patterning on web images. Would all of those patterns be commonly available through the CS, or were they limited to certain time frames? Am hoping that the CS site opens fairly soon, so my knowledge base may continue to expand.

You can send an email to the address PK listed and ask about specific knives and changes you'd like to make to them. Different coatings and handle materials are one some of the available options.
 
Forgot to mention you wont find people any nicer or more willing to help you make your perfect knife than Josh and the Swamp team.

Thanks for the rapid and useful replies. In looking over many of the Busse & kin products, I was noticing many variations in blade coloration, handles etc. So just was wondering about this info in a general sense. But will certainly follow your advice should I decide to order a new knife...Cheers.
