Hi all. A buddy had mentioned the real nice thread on the Bruce Bump Cut and Shoots so I came over to check that out, and then saw Bruce did well at the ICCE show, very cool. Anyway rather than just lurking, here is one you might enjoy seeing.

This is a Steve Johnson Big Bear I did a few weeks ago. I tend to stay pretty subtle with my engraving on Loveless styles, as too much can cross into the garish real easy, but subtle can translate to boring. So, I have done a couple of these Loveless style knives with this heavier, deep sculpted work, and I am liking the look, I think it's bold and interesting, but avoids that blingy look. But that is an engravers perspective, let me know your thoughts.

Anyway, thanks all for taking a look, and congrats to all the ICCE winners

I think that is amazing!
I love the depth of it. Makes it a really standout piece!

Astounding work. I love the deep relief, but the floral patterns on the pins are extremely fine work.

Most impressive - how in the heck do you guys do this??

This is stunning work. Yow. Perfectly complements that knife. Heck, I would have thought it was commissioned that way!!

I think I gotta go lay down now...

Wow. So very cool. Really good craftsmanship on all levels and participants.

Mitch Cohen makes me want to throw my camera away. How clear is that!

Yep Mitch's photos are awesome, I certainly appreciate the effort he puts into them.

Thanks all for the input and kind words.

Best regards.
