I got my SR1 yesterday. 1 word. EXCELLENT!

It was a little tight to release the lock. I drew on the face of the l

Awesome! I've seen that blue in person an it's a very cool color* / finish :)


*Unfortunately your camera "isn't playing ball" but FYI only, if you take a shot of the subject in front of a white background, even a cellphone should manage to get the white balance (color) pretty much right :)

Thanks! The colors are true. I cleaned it with windex just before my bad pics. Give it a try with your anodized ti. It really makes the colors pop.

Indeed it is! I am loving it.
 
Just got my 3 SR-1 Ti's (1 each color) and I love them. Is it me or did they move the thumbstud a little farther away from the handle? The video shows it closer I think and they complained it was difficult to open with your thumb. I found it really easy and just love the authoritative sound of it locking up. Watch out Sebenza!!
 
Nice knife. I have been itching to pull the trigger on one. May do it in the next week. Any complaints at all with the knife?

You will not regret it,

The feel of the knife is Uniquely hefty. It feels like an absolute tank! It sure can take a beating.

The Sleipner steel, I am very impressed with, compared to my various s30v and d2 knives i've used, it is on the top for edge retention.

I am on the lookout for a Raindrop one.
 
My blue ti SR-1 arrived about an hour ago and the unopened package is silently waiting for me, in my truck, to leave my cousins house, go home, and open it up. The anticipation is delicious, and growing!
 
Sounds like I am going to have to sell something to get one of theses!
