SR1 very stiff action

Hallo gang!

Yesterday I got a Lionsteel SR1. It is brand new and always been a safe queen for collecting purposes. Show-casing only.

However, the action is very very stiff. I can hardly open it with my thumb. I adjusted the pivot and added some nano-oil.
No results. Now my thumb is very sore.

Does this knife need a break-in period?
I also noticed that the belly isn't very sharp. Does Lionsteel offer a sharpening service?
