Seasons Greetings Hogs!

Please forgive me in advance if this post is redundant, I've searched around the forum, but no cigar. I LOVE INFI steel and the knives they've made for me. I have also heard many good things about the SR101 steel in that it's combat ready, hard as hell, and sharpens easy (rust?). I ordered the SFNO in early November and I was wondering if anyone has had great experiences with an SR101 or I'd like your thoughts on the Natural Outlaw. I like the shape, balance, and weight. My favorite knife that Busse made is the Axe Hammer that I bought from Axelson Tactical. I also have a Battle Mistress and a TGLB (picture) but I always run to the Hammer. How does SR101 stack up to INFI? Thoughts? Comments Go!!

I'll put a pic up when I figure out how to actually do it... sorry in advance.

SR101 with the Busse heat treat is a great steel. Many threads on the topic, not sure why you couldn't find them.

SR101 has ~90% of the properties of INFI at ~60% of the price. And some folks think that it takes and holds a better edge. However, being a carbon steel, it can stain or rust. But in the real world of users, this is not a problem. Enjoy.

1095 or similar was the most common steel used in WWI and WWII. If a simple carbon steel is combat ready I think pretty much anything will be fine.

Thanks for the info. And I couldn't find it because I'm new here and I've met my "blonde-moment" quota for the month lol. I'm wondering now when they are start shipping them. I ordered mine on 09 NOV so I figured it would be shortly. I also got Brown working up a kydex case for it. Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you all.
