I have a Cold Steel SRK with a leather sheath and was wondering what ese Cold Steel has to offer. I'm looking for another knife to ompliment my SRK for when IN hunted this knife was always on my belt. I felt naked without it but I'VE knew that my Kabar would've sufficed.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions to a better or equal knife?

I recommend the Leatherneck SF. It's just awesome. I'm glad I bought mine.

Wait, what are you using the knife for and how much are you willing to spend?

Joseph,

I don't understand what you are saying in the part highlighted above? Also not sure what you mean; "that my Kabar wouldn't suffice?" (mine did a Westpac, Med Float, Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Panama and worked hard for about 8 years of pounding, cutting, digging, prying and everythig else asked of it.)

Are you looking for a smaller companion knife such as a folder to carry with your SRK or are you looking for a bigger blade to replace it and do other things? For a folder the American Lawman, Recon 1 and Pocket Bushman are great. For a bigger knife the Recon Scout and Trail Master immediately come to mind and are hard to beat by anything out there. My favorite bigger blade is [by far] the Gurkha Kukri, mine has taken a regular workout as a work/farm tool for about two years and there is hardly a scratch on it. It does every job from tooth pick to chain saw!

I'm a bit unclear as to what you mean. If you're looking for a folder to compliment your SRK, I'd recommend the Recon 1 --I use this combo myself. If you mean a larger fixed blade, I'd have to go with a Recon Scout -- I absolutely love mine.
