All srk's I've ordered for customers in the last 14 months have been shipped with the kydex sheath.
I just got two in last week, both with kydex sheath also. One of the customers took the knife out of the wrap and immediately cut his thumb to the bone in front of several of us at the gun club.
Off to the hospital he went, have to say that knife got broken in real quick, fastest cut frpom new I've seen from a customer on any knife.
They do come through razor edged from the factory, in fact several ordered them after seeing how they were delivered that sharp.

My worse knife wound is from a slip with the SRK. 1.5cm into the quad muscle on my left thigh. The combination of the work required to push/pull that thick blade through stuff and it's scary sharpness makes it a slightly dangerous knife IMO. Great knife, great cutting & chopping power for it's size, but must be respected.
