I'm looking for a knife to use for ocean diving and survival (on land). I used to have the U.S Divers/Aqualung Master Dive Knife that I used when diving--I liked it, but I can't find it. I've got the Gerber Guardian somewhere, and I like it too, but it's not really suited for diving or general survival.

The SRK looks good to me, but so does the SOG. I've heard of Mission's MPK-Ti, but it sounds expensive, and I'm not sure where to buy one. Anyway, I'd appreciate any advice you could give me. Thanks.

For Diving I'd go with a BM rescue (I think that's the name) fixed blade, it's made specifically as a dive knife with steel the supposedly can't rust and isn't very expensive. Also there's the option of the Boker Orca (which is what I'd buy) but it is more in the price range of the Mission knives.

Get an UnderwaterKinetics dive knife with a Hydroalloy blade. I don't dive but that knife see's a lot of salt water with no damage. I picked mine up for about $30.
