Srkw rodent 6 question

I picked up a rodent 6 about a week ago and I found the original specs on it ant they say it is a ultra convex saber bevel. Upon looking at it, it appears to be flat saber. Can anyone clarify?

If the R6 you got is not directly from Busse (meaning it's possibly an older model) I am not sure what the blade grind is supposed to be. I do, however, have a R6 I picked up last year and it is definitely a flat saber grind.

IMO the 'ultra convex saber grind' was an allowance at a little bit more freedom in what the primary grind ends up being. IIRC the description of it was that it was nearly flat saber grind...

Mine was flat saber with a huge thick bevel behind the edge. After an extended time on a carborundum stone, it ended up more of a convex edge bevel, because of its thickness. It cuts good, chops better. It chops way above its weight class, IMO.
