Progunner, you have a picture of an SRT on your website. Do you own it?
I'm curious about it,.....
Chuck Norris just dropped one off after killing 800 ninjas.... He handed it to me, saying that he heard that some dumbass said they were tough, and that he wouldn't need it after all.... :D
Or if anyone else knows anything about this knife, I'd appreciate the info... LIKE....
1) How many were made.
2) Is it a mil. overrun?
3) Who was it originally made for?
4) What does SRT stand for?
5) Would you give up a Klondike bar for an SRT?
Thanks.

hehehe... aaaaaaaaah man. you had me thinking i had completely missed a posted custom/variant.

if it is a military run, it appears as though little is different other then the coating from the 20th anniversary argonne assault. the one underneat that being the 10th anniversary argonne assault.

both of those are black and tan, wich are custom shop features on that knife (though all of them went through the custom shop as i understand it, they were generally satin finished). its possible that they were ordered as custom knives, one being okay to have the logo and the srt (possibly a military acronym), and the 10th anniversary edition being iether custom ordered after the fact to make a matching set, or that was the original ordered military knife (being sterile), and the 20th was sent back the custom shopped to get the tan coating, and have the srt etched into it.

or, its possible that both were custom ordered, and the srt is something reletively inconsequencial compared to a military order insignia, like the a2t ratchets had.

well crap... badmojo.tv has me wondering if im right that the longer edition is the 20th edition....

apperently black was the other standard coating for the argonnes, other then satin le edition... (again, im just guessing as per the badmojo page)....

argonnes were one of the items i didnt pay much attention to through the years, as they are a knife that while i would like to own, know that i wont.

unless i win the lotto. then i am sooooo custom ordering an argonne edition moab...

guh.... you and your 2 axes.... :grumpy:
