SS Handle Engraving?

Has anyone had any engraving done to any of there SS handled knives? I am interested in getting a SS Delica for a friend, and I would like to have it engraved. If this is possible, who does this type of work?

I have a SS Delica, Endura, Native, and Dragonfly all engraved with a Spyderco logo and web design on the handle and blade. They were all laser-engraved by Spyderco. The purchase was arranged through a dealer but you can probably order directly from Spyderco also.

Seems like I saw somewhere that to have spyderco do it a dealer must order it.There are other places to have laser engraveing done though.

If you just want an engraving try a jewelery store or anywhere that does engraving.

If you want to have the knife personalized, a jeweler or trophy shop should be able to help you. If you want artwork, a reputable gun dealer may be able to put you in touch with an engraver or try an internet search. I've had a number of stainless handled Spydercos engraved for friend's police academy graduations- Always very well recieved!

I have had a couple of stainles Spyderco's engraved by Brooks Burt. He does great work.

Brooks Burt does excellent work. I have an engraved Pegasus that was done by him.
