By now you have all seen the images for the upcoming OCC Leek with the laser cut stainless overlay shown here:

Thought you might to see one that we already have on the market for Snap-On:

what does snap-on do with all these knives? are they a catalog item? or a sale promotion tool, or?

OE, we have special display boards made up for them that go in their mobile tool trucks. Been doing business with them for decades now. Kershaw is the exclusive knife manufacturer for Snap-On. They do carry cataloged knives, but we have done many special make-ups just for them as well. This Leek is one of them.

Also, all those colored handled Need's Work knives that you saw at the 2nd sale, they were done as a boutique run for them.

yes, I have seen so many..... and have come across some very old ones, so that makes sense. Didn't know about the truck boards though. Interesting. And yes, I remember those red Needs Work models. Also the red Grooves.

Red Groove? Interesting...wonder what the Snap-On man gets for these? Might be interesting looking on the Rainbow...

Anyways, back on topic...I've already placed my name in line at NGK for the OCC Leek! It will be my first Leek...

is this snap on knife for sale through them? i looked on there sight and there was nothing. I really like spider stuff, anything with a web or motiff of a black widow and i need to own it. I really like the OCC knife untill i saw the snap on knife. I would love to have one.

That is a sweet looking Leek.
I wouldn't mind having one of those as well as the OCC.
It would also be nice just to have a couple of the overlays
to try out on different Leeks.

I was thinking the same thing, Kershaw could just sell the overlays only and I would bet they could sell quite a few. Kershaw could do small runs of overlays, cost investment for Kershaw would surely be small and we could customize our knives a little. Hmmm......

Snap-On charges full retail for the most part, but being able to make weekly payments on a knife addiction makes it seem not so bad.
