First, I must say that I love my SS Zing! It really fits my hand, and the blade size and grind is wonderful for EDC. I decided to buy a Wal-Mart like with the black blade and handle. All I can say is that I love the Leek's Wharncliffe blade, but I like the Zing's wider handle better. I like the blade retention thingy on the Leek although I .don't know if it is really needed. Fit and finish is dead even! The Chinese knife uses cheaper steel (I guess,) but it comes in second in nothing else, IMO. It's going to be hard to keep cheaper knife production they USA for Kershaw.

Kershaws (Chinese production included) are great knives. As for me, I will never stop buying USA made goods over Chinese made. I'm happy to pay the premium to support Americans with jobs!

Of course I have a few Chinese knives too. A good knife is a good knife. Buy them all!

I'm glad I got the Leek. I am a fan of Wharncliffes and this is the first one I've had for a while. My Leek and two Zings give me decent 3' EDC rotation.

I held a S.S. Zing last weekend and I thought it felt and looked great. I think I would probably buy a Zing over the Leek due to the blade shape and price.

I can definitely see a person making that choice. I feel in love with SS Zing. I had an SS Volt II, and once I got the Zing, the Volt went to the classifieds.
