Hey guys and girls just wanted to show you guys what I'm working on. These are full titanium axes, toms, and hatches. Made these with a lot of folks in mind from military guys, EOD guys, firefighters, smokejumpers, hikers, or anyone that wants a lighter, corrosion free, magnetic free, cutting tool in the shape of an axe. Please let me know what you think.

Yes they are haven"t finalized prices yet but they will be in between $300-$400 if you are interested send me a pm and we can work on details from there.

Carbide edge on these or just Ti?

Also, a titanium Hawk is just screaming to be thrown, I think.

I get a feeling backpackers will LOVE these things, they like to keep weight down and minimize maintenance on tools.

I can put a carbide edge on them but i haven't on these. A guy that use to throw hawks in competition help me design the hawk so it they are made to throw. And im almost finished with a trail axe for back packers and survival people that has a threaded bung in the bottom so you have a water tight compartment for matches, fishing line or whatever survival gear you can put in it.

As a commercial helicopter pilot who spends most of his time flying over remote forest or tundra, these are very interesting... Let me know when you settle on price points!

How does titanium function for a chopping tool?
Would a carbidized edge hold up to chopping?

from my little experience pretty well, i just got these put together and am going to video some torture tests in the very near future, im going to try with and without the carbideized edge and will post the videos and my honest opinion on what they are and arent capable of doing
