Just another reminder that this coming weekend is the St. Louis knife show. Location: Carpenter's Union Hall on South Hampton(about 3 blocks South of hwy 40). Hope to see a bunch of you folks there!

Thanks for posting that, I didn't know about it..do you have the street address???

I live about 2 hours away.

Unsure of the street address, but if you take highway 40 west, until you get to the Zoo exit, that will be Hampton. Turn south and head that way for about 3 lights, and the Carpenter's Union Hall will be on the right side. See ya there!

I've been saving my money for over a month now and I'm soooooo ready to get a new knife! I can't wait :)

No, that's not the show I am talking about. That is a gun show in a little bitty room all the way across town.

I'm talking about the KNIFE only show at the Carpenter's Union Hall on South Hampton.

I might not be, I found out that the St. Louis Regional Gun & Knife show is at the Gateway Center in Collinsville Feb. 7-8...much less driving for me, plus same state which reduces gun dealing hassals.

Gun dealing hassles? Won't be any hassles, as we're talking about a KNIFE show, not a gun show. See you all there. :)

Ooops in my mind I was thinking Knife & Gun show....I rarely go to a "knife"only show, as noone promotes those close to were I live.

They say that the mind is the second thing to go, but I forgot what the first one was??

I'll see you all there! I'm about 6'2, baby face, jeans, pea coat, green filson ball cap. Yahoo only an hour till the doors open!
Matt

Hey Danbo,

Thanks for getting the correct address! I made it to the show today.
Met Chuck Hawes who will be making a Damascus Folder for me. He had some great knives there, & some of the things in his picture album are just amazing.

Also talked briefly with Roy Warden. He explained Mosaic Damascus to us. Just gotta have one of them Damascus belt buckles!

Stopped at Mike Pellegrin's table. He makes knives and some really interesting display stands.

Wish I'd brought the camera.

Today was great..I just hope that the weather will hold off for tomorrow...
Matt

Me too. But, I will make it to the show regardless. Even if I have to drive 5 mph over the ice. All my stuff is on that table!
