I just have to share a couple of pics of some great knives. Stan recently did an alteration on one of his 'Advisor' models (to accommodate stubby fingers), and the knife is as close to perfect as I've ever seen.

But Stan isn't known for just one model...he recently came up with one of the most innovative concepts on the flipper seen...the 'Non-Flipper Flipper'

And he has ported his Advisor model to the balisong in a truly magnificent piece...

And it seems no matter the grind, the symmetry, edge, slopes, all consistent to an incredible extent...here are a couple of his dagger balisongs; one with a magnetic latch, the other with a spring latch...

Stan has also taken his 'Raptor' model to balisong...

Look closely...his knives . are . perfect

I'm not familiar with another maker that is a master of virtually any style he chooses...if my culinary range was as diverse (and as fundamentally competent) as Stan's, I would be happy indeed

I don't know if it's just me but I'm kinda getting the feeling you like this guy's work. :D

Michael: Fantastic selection. WOW!

My heartrate rose with each photo. However, it came down to a manageable level once I realized you were NOT laying them on a concrete surface.  (Recycled plastic hardwood).

So under the radar, so talented.

Stan: Attaboy!

Thanks guys!

Coop, you're correct, and under the knives on the granite piece is modelling clay (you can see a bit peeking out under the handle of the bottom Advisor) :)

I have had the pleasure of handling most of the knives pictured. Truly exceptional work.

Magician or maybe wizard....

I had considered both. However, this Stan Wilson seems to have a talent for turning steel into gold.

Michael,

Always a rare pleasure to see the uniquely wonderful cutlery in your collection.
Thanks.
