Came to say thank you for the comments about the last knife I posted a few days ago but it's a bit far in the archives so I'll say it here........Thanks!!

Away from making a little while and I forgot just about everything:).......from the knife making to the sheath making and the photography! It's like learning all over again, looking forward to finishing up a couple folders next!

This one has;
5" clay/light polish, 1084 blade
Mild steel with patina guard, textured / patina copper spacers with a filed mild steel spacer
Stabilized Mallee burl handle with mild steel pins and copper thong tube
10" o.a.l.

Thanks for looking,
Dave

Had trouble with the photos getting the knife coloring correct!

That is a great looking knife AND sheath. I like your integration and choice of different materials, and it looks like it will be a tremendous user.

Do you have a website by chance?

Nope, sorry Dave, you didn't forget nutt'in ;)

The knife/sheath are simply gorgeous !

I love the mallee burl handle too.

Excellent, excellent work ! :)

Missed this one the first time round - beautiful.
Made me search the "archives" just to see the other pics.
Very nice work on the knife and sheath.

Looks like it's all coming back to you, to say the least. That is SUCH a beautiful little knife. The sheath looks to be your typically superb work, as well.

Roger

Thanks very much you guys!!

No website right now Chris, I put everything on hold until I was finished with this medical stuff..........it keeps getting in the way, I have to start and stop too many times to get anything done. I've had quite a few surgeries in the last few years and getting ready for hopefully the final one.

Couple photos of the front and edge of the sheath.

Thanks again,
Dave

I'm very sorry to hear about your health problems.
But I very glad to see you channelling your focus into something so positive and so beautiful.
I've always really admired what I've seen come out of your shop, and this knife is no exception. In a word, it is beautiful.

GREAT looking package Dave. Nice details on the spacers, top of the blade, and that's a sweet piece of burl.

Peter

Dave that is one beautiful knife and sheath. EVERYTRHING works on this one, lines, design, hamnon, the handle flat pops, and the sheath is a beauty.

Great work!!!
