What product, if any can be used to care for stabilized wood handles on a knife? Also, are common oils like Break Free, Rem Oil, Tri-Lube, or Tuf-Glide bad for the wood if you happen to get some oil on it?

I think the only oils I have gotten on my Schrade LB7 were WD-40, Hoppe's lubricating oil, and Smith's honing oil (but not all at the same time). The stab-wood handles don't seem to be adversely affected. Of course, I did'nt let it soak.
Good luck.

There is nothing you need to do to care for stabilized wood. It basicaly becomes a plastic. Treat it like you would any other synth handle.

The beauty of stabilized wood is that when it scratches or gets dull you can hit it with a buffing wheel and compound and bring it back to a glossy finish.

Sentry Solutions says the Tuf-Cloth can be used on wood surfaces. I've used it on my BM 690. I don't know if it does much, but it certainly can't hurt anything. Basically, I agree with the previous poster, that the stuff is fairly indestructible.
