This is a message to Stabman, with whom I got in an argument a few weeks ago. He claimed the CS Spartan could be "easily" deployed one handed and implied I was a bit of idiot for not being able to do it. Weeks later I was screwing around with the knife and discovered that the problem really wasn't with the design, but rather, was a flaw in my own technique. By pressuring the thumb plate upwards and outwards (instead of just outwards) I was able to achieve consistently decent one handed deployment. So...

I'd just like to apologize to Stabman for not keeping a more open mind. Sorry dude... you were right.

Good of you to admit when you're mistaken. Way to go. Also, a few guys here have a bit more experience than some of us, and it often pays to listen to the voice of experience.
