Hi all here is one recently completed. It is 13.25" overall length. The blade is Don Hanson's W2 with hamon. Forged S-guard is 416 stainless with hand rubbed satin finish. Sambar stag handle. Spacer and filed buttcap are black G10 and Desert Ironwood. Check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks to all for looking. Have a good day. -Burton Harruff

Very nice. Interesting combo with the G10 and D.I. for the spacer and buttcap. I am also impressed with the photo. Good job all around. I am sure someone is going to be very happy to add this one to their collection.

What a beauty!

Love the stag, love the ironwood details.

Very nice!

Kind regards,

Very cool Burton the use of the ironwood on the butt cap is working so well on the knife to make it all tie together

Thanks for the inspirational words everyone.

Thanks Karl, I made a 1" thick block of steel with the two radiuses used in this guard. I had it drawn out first on paper and tried to make a block out of hard wood first. It burnt a bit to much and I couldn't recreate the radius the way I wanted so I switched to steel.

Thanks again to all for checking it out and commenting. -Burton Harruff
