Here's some bad pics of one I've been working one. I got some nice stag at the Chesapeake show and put together a hunter with the stag and brass bolsters. The pics do not do it any justice, but the stag scales are nice. I had my mascot help hold the knife. :D It's 3/16" x 1" D2, 4" blade and 4" handle. 8 1/2" overall. Thanks for looking

Thats a nice looking blade. One question though is that a hammon line or just some color from the lighting?

Thank you. That's the lighting. It's not completely finished. I have to finish cleaning the blade on the buffer and do some final sanding on the handle and bolsters.

Scott that's a nice one! There's an article in the new Blade about smaller knives like this being ideal for EDC, and this one begs to be just that. Very nice, I always enjoy checking out your work. Thanks for sharing,

Thank you. I've had a hard time finding stag that I like. Mother of Pearl , I think that's their name was at the Chesapeake show and had some nice stag for $27.00 a pair. I asked where they got it and they said they're getting it from Mongolia. Hopefully we'll be seeing stag available from another source other then India.

Yes that knife looks like its keen and well ground. I got some stag off ebay this last fall and it was Sambar form other then India I hope I can start gettting it but its twice the price it was pre embargo/ban so now only money is the object..so it goes.

It's got that ugly lookin brass stuff on it.... :D
Just joking... :D Don't get that thread going again...
The brass does look nice with that stag.

Thanks Howie. ;) I know, that brass thread was a long one. I had a lapse in memory. :D What I really like about brass is the solid weight and feel but it is a pain to keep clean. The stag and brass complement each other.
