Hello all, I just wanted to share this carving of a eagle on the end of a stag horn that Leroy R dad did... I think he did a real good job on it... It's was sitting in Leroy's shop for a long, long time... Anyway he gave it to me the other day when I was over there and it's going in with all my buck stuff... I think it's real cool... Thanks for looking...

My wife does scrimshaw on antler and she says its a hard material to work on . It would make a good bolo tie . DM

Man Armand you got it made, swap meets every week, cant swing a dead cat without hitting an ex-employee looking to give you a great deal and being able to hang around at Leroys...Your handle should be Its Too Easy:D

BTW-like the carving:thumbup:

It ain't all THAT easy....When you add up all the networking[phone calls, dry holes, miles driven you do [have too!] to make a good score....But 'Bucking around' sure is fun!

Thanks imafritz, But it's not that easy... Lots of hit and miss... I try to Hard to find Buck knives or any knives, that I can trade for other Buck knives... I love the name Its too easy... I wish... But I like the name... It's cool that everyone (NOT EVERYONE) well seem like everyone knows someone who worked for Buck at sometimes... Buck had a lot of employees, I guess... I'm just at the right place at the right time, I guess... Very lucky... I wish I could hang with Leroy everyday... I always have a great time at his house/shop... I wish I could go every weekend to the swap meet and look for knives and old toys...I just don't have time... There's about 8-10 other guys out there at the swap meet looking for knives too... And they get some nice knives some times... You can't be everywhere... ... ITE

John, I'll tell him for you... I don't think he's teaching anyone in his family how to make knives... Just a few friends...
