Hi Guy's,
This knife I finished today l decided I would like it to be one of a pair. I will be on the hunt for another piece of Stag but it is getting harder to find Good stag now a days. I would like to call the pair "Twins".
The Random Pattern is made of 112 layers of 1084 and 15n20.
The Blade is 7 & 5/8" to the guard and 12 &1/2" over all length.
Sharp By Coop will eventually do some professional grade pic's in the future!!!

Comment's Welcome
Thank's For Looking.

Beautiful stag - that one will be hard to match!
Love the contrast of the low layer damascus

VERY nice David! The hardware looks good and that popcorn stag is EXCEPTIONALLY nice.

I like everything about this one:

1) the blade shape (almost like an extra-pointy spear point)
2) the compact but curvy guard
3) the delicious stag
4) the random damascus (I've long been a fan of random swirls)
5) the Russ Andrews-esque butt cap.

Very nice work.

Beautiful! Love that blade shape, the guard is great, without being overdone, and that stag of course is sweet. (is that plateau briar in the pic with it?)

Thank You for your Kind Comments!!!

Roger P,
I have seen this style Butt cap before and decided to give it a try. It was done free hand on my belt sander's 1/2" wheel.

Hi Dago Red,
The wood in the background is York Gum Burl from Australia. Iron wood and York gum are 2 of my favourites.
Thank's
Dave

Beautiful knife Dave. Ya know, twins can be fraternal. That way the stag would not have to match.....

Execution, fit/finish is superb.
Great stag! Love the guard and fittings.
Nice touch, putting your mark in the spine as it doesn't distract from the beautiful damascus pattern.
Speaking of the blade, the profile's nice, however I personally feel it's not up to the rest of this
knife's exceptional features.

G'day David
Great knife mate, love the random, it has some crazy swirls. I hope you are looking at matching the stag as a philosophical challenge, because that is a lovely piece and a hard ask to get another one!

Cheers
Shawn
