Here's a different twist on a familiar theme...didn't get a photo of it with the sheath before it went away...1075 blade with hamon, zirconium clamshell guard with titanium spacer/flower, and a pretty sweet piece of stag.

Great looking knife Ben. To my eyes though, I would have liked to have seen it with a longer guard.

love that zirc on the handle's backside, looks super trick but also craftsmany with the peining and ole skool floral motif.
I understand where the comment regarding the guard comes from, but I kind of like it short and stubby like that on this piece. It sort of boosts the blade and handle up, which are a little boosty anyway.
Kind of an anime feel to it. Exaggerated 3D. Very kewl!

Beautiful lines, great stag. I note your hamon is somewhat subdued compared to many of your other fighters, etc. It goes well with the more traditional flavor of the knife. Nice touch.
