Santi that is a really beautiful piece! :eek: :cool: :D
Is it for sale and if so may I ask the price?
Where was it made?

Huh OH!! Now you got all the Khukri Guys out of the Closet!! :D

That is a super package, I like the way that the left the blade with the skin from the Forge still on.

Do tell us more about it;

What is the Blade steel, Rc, weight... etc ...etc.

Ok . . . :) Just to lazy to typed in other days. ;)

I got it many years back from one of the leading KnifeMaker in Thailand, his name is Tin, as stamped on the guard. (He passed away last year. :()
He said only ten of this had been made, at that time, for his friend who hosted the "wilderness" show on TV. No serial# on any of them though. Once the blade's done, he did test it with some hard-wood trees and things before the show, some scratches still there since I haven't done anything to remove it.

According to him it's of ATS-34. The butt and guard is of 440-C.
Sheath (two pieces of wood attached by few internal dovels, so no screws seen from the outside) is of rose-wood.
The egde is thinner toward the tip (which is a bit round) for delicate job (not sacry sharp or even razor sharp, though) and thicker near the guard for the heavier task.
Butt of the sheath is of brass.
Handle is of one big beautiful stag, as you see. :)

Blade lenght is approx 11"
Handle is around 5 1/4" (One the most comfy handle I ever lay my hand on)

Don't have the scale, but it weighths about the same as the Busse Basic 9. (Looks much bigger though ;))

:D

I love the contrast between the polished grinds and the forgemarked flats, it really suits a kukri well.
