did Schrade ever make a knife using real stag horn? with nickel bolsters? i have seen one with Scharde USA on the blade and was wondering was this a custom redo or one from the factory?

Without knowing exactly which model you are talking about, and not knowing exactly which model I have, i would have to say yes. I know they used genuine on the WWII comemoratives at least, but think they had brass bolsters. I believe the NKCA trapper had stag handles as well, and a couple fixed blades too. Plus I have a "SCHRADE+ LTD" version of an LB7 that had stag and nickle silver bolsters that I'm pretty sure came from the factory that way.

Nice stockman Luis! Schrade did a LOT of knives in stag, mostly SFO's and commemoratives. Here are a few:

They did a number of them for Copenhagen, Ducks Unlimited, NKCA, etc., plus a few under the NY Knife Co stamp as well.

Yes, here's my Schrade-ltd stockman in stag.

Luis: I'm guessing, but does your stag handled stockman have a punch blade? Looks like that bottom blade is laying flat like that. Is it a 3 9/16" Stockman?

Eric: Nice lot of stag you are showing there. The 804 is a beauty.

My stag Schrades. The seller told me he got this 123OT from his uncle, who got it from a Schrade sales rep.

Dale, yes, thanks for bringing that up, I forgot to mention it. It's the top right one in the group shot.(That's a customized knife folks, not a factory original). Here's another shot of it:

It also would have been nice for me to explain what the rest were, from left to right: Virginia Game Warden annual knife, Gander Mountain SFO, National Park Service anniversary, and the Williams custom:
