Stag Hunter with self portrait butt cap

I got this one done yesterday It is the first time I put my face on the butt cap it was a lot of fun to try and chisel my mug the knife is 11 1/2" with a 6 1/4 " blade and a new pice of stag from AKS. guard is wrought butt cap is pure iron.

Come on Dave if your going to do a self portrait make it correct and not how you want to look like, that carving has way to much hair on the top .

Great carving. Haven't seen much of that and it's a great touch. Something you might see more on an older knife.

Other than that the rest of the knife is fantastic too. Great lines and proportions.
The guard perfectly matches the carved butt. I like everything about this one.
