I was going to put these up on the sell or trade forums, but I have no idea what they're worth. There are no markings on them from what I can see. I don't even know what I have here.

I'm fairly certain that the knife is real stag, but I'm not so sure about the fork. I don't even know how to tell.

I have bigger pictures if anyone's interested.

I have a carving set similar to yours, only mine is a matched set. (Carving knife, Steel and serving fork with collapsable guard). Mine is clearly marked Geo. Wostenholm & Sons Sheffield England. I was told on this forum that it's probably circa 1930. Mine was a gift from a friend here on the forums James Day, I believe he bought it off Ebay for $30. I had purchased a similar steel for $2 in an antique store.

The knife in my set takes a beautiful edge, and although the set shows it's age, it's the knife I use to carve the Thanksgiving turkey.

If I were you I would clean and sharpen it up, and use it .
