Stag New York Knife Company Sharpfinger?

Imperial Schrade made these as a commemorative edition honoring the New York Knife Company. They made these in a stockman, trapper, and sharpfinger pattern, all with this stamp, and stag handles. I believe it was made in the 1990's.

Hal, that is as close as I can come to the documentation on that series. I am hoping we will get more exact info from some of the other lads. Here is an example of the stockman in that series.

Schrade made 4 patterns of these boned handled NYK knives for SMKW in 1995.
NYK8s, NYK34S,NYK77S and NYK94S 1500 each delivered 500 per month Jul - Sept.

Good info Larry. I did not know about the 34 and the 77. They are all stainless blades I believe.

Thought I'd add a picture of one with a box. I like the cool "bowtie" shield on this knife.

I just found this exact knife in my utility drawer. I got it from a relative that passed away a few years back. It brand new in the box. Is this a collectors item? Or should I just put it to use. Just to be clear it's the NYK34s that Thawk was showing.

They are collectable but not "The Holy Grail". In my opinion you should use it if you would really like to or put it away if you really want to. No wrong answer here. Knife is definitely worth less than $100.00 on it's best day so using one is not heresy.
