I have a sambar stag Northwoods Senator, made by Queen, that I've been using for nearly two months now. I like it as well as I do my Case redbone Peanut. At 3-1/4", it's 3/8" longer than my Peanut, but because the ends taper (in both width and thickness) it pockets just as well as the Peanut, maybe a tad better. The scales swell in the middle, so I have no problem with purchase in the hand. Both blades are thin, and are on the same spring, so the knife overall is not bulky.
I like having the straight coping blade. It is handy for sharpening pencils and opening that infernal clamshell packaging.
For the photo I polished the bolsters, blades & shield, and put mineral oil on the scales.
If you've got any photography tips, I'd love to learn how to improve my photos. I'm new at this.
