Hi Guys,
It took me awhile to come up with a pair of stag handles to make a set of twin Damascus blades. Both are 112 layers of 1084 & 15n20.
Making the knives a perfect match was not remotely possible. I kept the basic theme in both knives but each knife has it's own character.

Enjoy,

I usually prefer handles with more of a drop in the butt area like the first one but in this case, I love them both equally. You nailed them.

Well done - the stag is very nicely matched considering they were not sourced at the same time.

Those are just right! Nice work.......beauty stag and great, not overdone, damascus.

Great looking knives Dave!
1st thing I noticed was how well the pattern in the steel goes with the texture of the stag.

Great job(s)....... ;)

Everything's right about both of those.....S-guard, killer stag, superb Damascus!

Great looking knives, and impressively clear images to show them. (You've read post 815.) LOL!

Good for you. Are they going to Marlborough this weekend?

Love everything about those two! Killer stag and damascus. Sleeek.
Cheers Keith

Dave, I knew you were working on these but, WOW! I really like what you did here and I like that they are not exact duplicates. Afterall, even twins have their own personalities.

Thank You for you Comments,
The One thing that I learned about making a pair of knives out of Stag is Making sure you have a pair of Stags ready to go. Not just one.
