I knew that would get your attention! I didn't know till a week or two back, that some stag sodbusters came out of Queen cutlery. Here she be, in D2 steel! If you have any interesting handles on your sodbusters, how about posting them here??

It sure got my attention and then I saw the picture. Oh Man! You really need to put this one up in the trade thread, just let me know first before you do:D
Its not really too unusual for a sodbuster I guess but I have one ordered in micarta. The problem is that the maker is having a hard time finding a big enough piece of the "old ivory" colored micarta (as Dozier used to call it) that I wanted.

Thaknks for the picture, Waynorth, that's a gooder.

I noticed them also.

The ones with yellow or black handles in D2 are very, very reasonably priced.

New adjectives from Amos! And you said you were running out of descriptions! I suspect you will never run out of words old Wolf, and we're the better for it!

A majestic heard of stags! (I'm recovering slightly Charlie.)

I like that both of the soddies have a darker look to them. I can hear those stag soddies warming up in preparation of singing a siren's song to me. One of those sitting in a really nice horizontal belt sheath that matched the knife's character would just shine!

This stuff also makes me wonder if anyone still makes those tall, lace-up, woodsmen's boots with the knife pouch on the side for your folder?

Got mine! I took this shot of the reserve side of the knife. The stag was a little nicer on this side and I like it better without trademark Queen shield that is on the obverse side. The rubber chicken is a photography artistic touch.:)

Queen 48 Stag Whittler. Should be from the same run as the Stag Sodbuster. They were made for a knife dealer in North Alabama. Larry

BTW This one belongs to VCM3 now.

Oh man! I hope (hint hint) that this thread turns into a "show your stag handled slipjoints" thread!:D Keep 'em coming!

I picked these up for VCM3 to feed his stag addiction. Queen stag Copperhead and small Stockman . Both have pretty good stag IMHO. Larry

Sheesh, I've checked three threads this session and all three have had recent stag handle knives posted. YEAH! Did I mention I love stag. Like me and how many other knife knuts.
