stage throwers

Well, it's finally time for me to step up and add knife throwing as another act for the show. I have been throwing for a number of years, but I don't have a full set of matched throwers that would look good on stage.

Now here's the hard part. I need to score a set (6 to 12) of 10 to 12 inch throwers that are shiny enough for the lights to pick up at the venues, and that I could do half and full rotation throws, and I need them on the cheap. (if I could only find another show sponser to cover for it)

And I'm out of material to really make my own set in the shop. (well that and time too)

any suggestions?

This knife is 12" and is $7.99 each at Smokey Mountain Knifeworks.

Well, I'm out of options, material and time to make them in my shop, and I would of gone with the CS ones but those are out of production. (and I want a shiny surface instead of the black epoxy coating)

I might as well give them a go. I'm sure that they will hold up for a while for the time being at least.

Well, they came in today, and I gave them a few throws.

A little on the soft side for my opinion, but overall, not bad.

Well of course, and I have made a few on my own. The problem is just that I have squat for time and now after moving resources for material and equipment.

That and making a bunch of them exactly the same would be rather dificult for me becuase I used to just freehand with the torch, plasma cutter, and bandsaw to get them done.
